Who is Linus Torvalds? :o) Seriously, a die-hard DOS user *wouldn't* need to know, or have to know who he is. I was just injecting some humor into the situation. Leave the last question off if it pleases you, I can come up with DOS-relevant ones... :o) How about: You will be asked to type in some filenames right now, please type them in: Makefile ________ README.txt ___________ and a few others The program then determines wether or not the user is case sensitive aware.... Or, it describes the various filesystems, recommends FAT to non-advanced users, lets them choose what they want (if they choose to call themselves advanced, then they had better be prepared for the advanced options screen). If they want ext2 or some other system, then they can read help screens for the various FS's and choose what they want, then they can be asked about the case sensitivity issue (the default being case INSENSITIVE).
