Date: Mon, 12 May 1997 23:28:40 -0700 (PDT) From: Matt Adam To: opendos AT delorie DOT com Subject: some stuff Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Precedence: bulk there is one other thing that desperately needs to be fixed with the opendos multitasking. this is the slight problem it has when dealing with comm ports. does it not handle the interrupt vectors properly or something? i tried looking for any type of pertinant data in the source code but my C and assembly skills leave a lot to be desired. i'd like to be able to run my bbs in one process and be able to do some simple word processing in another. i think my p150 should be able to handle that... actually, i ran taskmgr on my 386/16 with 5 megs of ram and i was very surprised to see how good the multitasking was.
