I've ran into 2 others as well, so that is 7. Look, instead of arguing about this, let's try and do something constructive. It happens. It happens to some people and not others. Maybe we could gather a list of CL chips which people are using successfully and unsuccessfully. If Gene is listening, perhaps he could tell us what the newui does that might be unstable, so we could try some experiments to isolate the problem. HINT: newui is automatically disabled under windows, so presumably the offending technique always breaks down then. Mine is a 5436 PCI, that other fellow's was a 5446, I think. Both these apparently fail. Can you try and find out what the graphics processors in the 7 lucky cards are? > > Mike A.
