BTW, there's a DR Multi-User DOS, somewhere in that revision control system Caldera got... About creating a new FS or using an existing one, I think ext2 would be just fine as the "big" FS when you have 4 megs RAM or more on a 386, so there's no need to create a new FS from scratch for that. But maybe later on, a replacement for FAT/VFAT, faster and better designed, easy on memory, no real security (like todays VFAT), but supporting nice file undeletion *and* LFNs... Pierre Phaneuf
