Barclaycard is one of the biggest credit card companies in the UK, a division of Barclays Bank. Anyway, they use a mix of NT and UNIX servers on Compaq hardware. The network manager told me that the server not only defragments itself, it immediately recommends replacement of SIMMs or hard disks that start to show intermittent errors.
