(i-e will you use it ? In > which kind of projects ? Do you know a lot of developers who will use it ?) I think that OpenDOS is something that has been needed for a long time. Multitasking under DOS (Desqview/Topview/Windows/etc) has never been what it should be, and the OD multitasking looks good so far, it still has a way to go though. I will use OD for DOS program development, for *some* internet connectivity (primarily for accessing the net when in DOS without needing a reboot into Linux), and also for setting up other people with cheap internet access. I'll also be working on improving it to be more modern, and more powerful. (Adding little bits and pieces from 4DOS, UNIX/LINUX, etc...) I know a lot of people who want or will want to use OD. They are primarily waiting to see what the next issue will be like, and to look at the sources. I'm not planning any development until the source is released personally, but I'm looking forward to it when they are released. Mike A.
