However, I have to disagree that DOS is dying, either on the big corporate front or in small businesses. Caldera is aiming at special-purpose and embedded markets, in which DOS continues to thrive. I read John's message, and he certainly has some good points. I have a gaming company, and we have wanted to use threads and dynamic libs for some time. However, for the time being, we are sticking with DOS development since Windows95 has not completely swallowed the market yet (and can run DOS apps anyway). Tim Bird
