I specifically remember one occasion when I booted with a non-system floppy accidentally left in the drive, and I didn't have any problems. The system said "Non-boot disk in drive A:" or something like that, and let me remove the floppy, and press Enter to resume booting. I've encountered similar problems with an MBR-virus-infected floppy. I suggest you check the diskette for a boot record virus. I hope it's not serious. Or, could it be some BIOS problem? That would be out of my league. Anyone? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Takashi Toyooka Verisim, Inc. http://www.magi.com/~ttoyooka/ http://www.verisim.com/
