In what operating system?  Without any networking of any kind,
what use is an email program at all?  I mean, you've got to have
SOME kind of networking.  You'll have to be more specific.  Do
you mean running PINE in OpenDOS and having it let you write
email offline, and also download your email when you are online?

Thats because you are not encapsulating the code in a bucket.
I've done this many times.  It's a very difficult bug to track
down.  Have you tried Borland TurboDesoaper?
