SLOWEST NetPC. :o) My Tandy (286/8Mhz) was being used as a terminal for logging into Linux for about 2 or 3 months. Worked great except that Telix's VT emulation is not very good. I stripped some of the hardware out of my Tandy and mixed them with other parts I had lying around (386, 40M HD, Mono monitor). I put Linux on the 386 and am ppping the machine to my 486. It isn't fully functioning yet, but it works good. I'm patiently awaiting a free vga monitor to be donated to me, then I'm going to put the tandy back into service. When this happens I'm going to download minix and hope that it is Tandy compatible. Then I'll hopefully have a true NetPC (also slow :o) Has anyone ran minix on a Tandy? If so, how much memory is required? Mike A. Harris | http://blackwidow.saultc.on.ca/~mharris Computer Consultant | Coming soon: dynamic-IP-freedom...
