Also, I think there is a certain group > where one proposes a new group and to which hierarchy it should go, etc. > well, i would prefer a newsgroup because i think it's a lot easier to follow article flow than e-mail flow of messages that were deleted days ago.. plus, i like to keep my e-mail clutter-free for important messages only. i mean, it's not a major inconvenience to be on a mailing list, i would just prefer a newsgroup as for the hierarchy.. wouldn't comp.os.opendos be appropriate? i'm fairly ignorant when it comes to advanced newsgroup hierarchies :)
