That way, I have a controlable environment in which to view dir's files, (including hidden). I can find stuff, move stuff, and view stuff. Handy utility, 7 times out of ten, if I have to do something from the command line, it's usually for the purpose of locating or viewing a file, I'll fire up dirmagic and do what I need done.
