It gets as far as analysing the existing system and then hangs accessing the floppy disk right after it has done... Searching System Path ... Searching drive C: ... (and lots and lots of C: drive activity) The BIOS is a non-LBA bios, the hard disk is 520M disk partitioned into 3: 1 is Primary DOS 250Mbytes 2 is Linux 16 Mbytes swap 3 is Linus 254 Mbytes ext2fs Anybody any ideas about why the machine hangs - must press the hard reset. cheers Jim Jackson
