I would like to report some anomalous behaviour observed whilst using Caldera OpenDOS (that is, software behaving in a manner different to expected). I am a heavy user of XTGOLD for DOS, and thus manipulate files/directories alot. In all previous versions of DOS (DR/Novell, MS, IBM) one could rename any (sub)directory. Now, under OpenDOS, XTGOLD comes back with 'Name already exists'. I think I read somewhere that it does support win-95 long file names, so I was just wondering if that had anything to do with it?! So far, that is the only behavioural difference between Caldera OpenDOS and Novell DOS that I have come across so far. Regards Joe
