Currently, it matches all characters up to the end of the file name or extension, regardless of whether or not any characters are specified after the asterisk. This anomaly should be corrected. Also, it should be possible to match entire sets of characters, for example by giving the expression: chapter[1-9].txt If I recall correctly, this feature is available in software compiled with DJGPP. Already, OpenDOS has extensive command line editing facilities. Perhaps file name completion could be added as well, or is this asking for too much? Jason White.
