Go one then, how do you get a fancy colour prompt with 4DOS without
the need for ANSI?

Here is the prompt I use (note <FE> should be character 0xFE):

	Prompt $e[0m$e[36m<FE>$e[1m$e[33m$P$e[0m$e[36m<FE>$e[m

How do I do that in 4DOS without ANSI?
