I haven't paid MS the $120 they want for the 95 upgrade, since I feel that they already have enough of my money - numerous dos upgrades, windows purchase, windows upgrade, utilities and programs, etc. ad infinitum - when does the hurting stop?!? Enter OpenDOS... :-)) [snip some more] > > I would LOVE to use ext2fs, and maintain the ability to run W3.11 > > and Dos programs, but also, I would like to see a utility like > > presizer or a converter for them - if I change over, why have both > > an MSDOS partition and an OpenDOS partition? that is if OpenDOS is > > working properly... > > presizer for ext2? Why? ext2 doesn't suffer from the large > partition == lots of wasted space blues. Exactly, so when I switch over, I'd like the FS to access the ENTIRE hard drive, but unless the current partition can be converted to ext2 non-destructively, it would have to be done in steps... and mounting the various partitions would require that they be put under subdirectories, which could make for a real adventure in modifying the setups... Take care... Jim jamesl AT albany DOT net or http://www.albany.net/~jamesl/
