The opendos edit.exe is roughly equivalent in every way to DOS 6.22 EDIT. I don't notice anything really BIG that is different (feature wise). It doesn't however use SHIFT-ARROW, etc for copy/paste operations which is a bummer. Oh, well, I can delete it anyways cause I use BOXER for most editing in DOS. Again, I think that DOS EDIT and probably the OpenDos one too, has a command line switch that would probably make your speech software work. I can't look right now though, because I cant get DOSemu to come up for some reason. Good luck. TTYL Mike A.
