I was in the process of setting up open dos7.01 after successfully install ing it and having it come up on my pc and when I took the restart option under the main setup screen, my machine stopped in the midst of config.sys saying bad things like it couldn/'t find the files and when I boot from a floppy, it will not allow access to the hd returning a message saying invallid drive spec. Please someone out there if you have any suggestions for this experienced dosser, please yes, I know I said that already, give me a ring or drop me a line. a ring is prefferable. You can even make it collect but if you don't weem to be able to help after a couple of mins, and you are calling collect, I may be a little short with you. I don't want to go into more detail here as it might bore or upset some. I know this is not tech support, but I figured at this stage, it might be better to contact the list. Thanks! btw, if it is your business, I can pay.
