So far the "Open Development Model" seems to be working in Caldera's favor! They released it to us, we've found some problems, they've pulled it to fix it, and will release it again soon fixed. Will it be OpenDOS 7.02? I think they should change the version numbering scheme to something like the Linux kernel's x.yy.zz scheme where: x = the major version yy is even = minor verson of latest stable release yy is odd = minor version of latest beta release zz = minor patch level So OpenDOS 7.02 would become OpenDOS 7.0.2, or more like OpenDOS 7.1.0 (the 1 indicating development).
