Maybe this explains why nobody's used it yet...) I have two questions: 1. Does anyone have any info on how the TASKMGR.INI file works? I want to do some tweaking. In particular, how do I get a TSR duplicated in each task? (WCED, a command-line editor that provides filename completion.) And what are the device drivers it seems to load? 2. According to Gene, the memory manager is really good and it's possible to get over 620kB of free conventional memory. Hmmm. I have trouble breaking 500kB. Does anyone have any advice? On the whole, OpenDOS appears to be excellent. It'll even task-switch SWAT and GEOS (hands up anybody who's heard of them!). All I need now is to patch it so that instead of using CTRL and the number keys, it uses ALT and the function keys to switch. :) It's a pity that EMM386.EXE is so broken, the multitasking is great. At one point I was managing to copy a disc and do something else at the same time.
