That is what I've got. I've got a Zoltrix 14.4 (NON-RPI!), cost me $200 in April '94. Damn good deal at the time (USR's were $270 here then). I think Zoltrix is great, I've NEVER had ANY problems with the Zoltrix modems. I use mine on IRQ2 too, and it works with everything right away. (As long as the program supports IRQ 2 that is, but if it doesn't then it is brain damaged and I delete it). If I upgrade to a 33k, I'll definately get a Zoltrix. It is only... lemme check... It's only $99 here without voice. Cool deal if u ask me (plus with a 5year warranty. :o) > >in my ip-up too. Fortunately it takes me 1/3 of the time... ;-))))) I've got fetchmail, sendmail, dynamic-ip-webpage-updater, atomic clock time syncronization program, several fingers, and a couple other things in my ip-up. This makes the first 10 minutes a living hell of waiting!! Wish I could afford the 33k. > >> BTW. Does anyone know of some good news agent for Win95 (yes... You can go to the main menu, pick Setup, pick Update, and get the addresses. I think I just searched my Infomagic CDs for the filename "pine" and then changed the filename to 3.95 and did a ftpsearch for the file. It is pine3.95.tar.gz. I got it from the main PINE site. Don't remember it's address but it is in the Setup|Update somewhere. Use ftpsearch if you can't find it. > >> You search the darkness and you scramble for the light. > >And stick your finger in an empty socket. Ouch. > Err... yeah, that's not nice.
