The new newsgroup creation will take between 21 and 31 days after the date
of submission.  From my standpoint I'd rather just create a series of
mailing lists for now.  If someone would like to undertake the newgroup
process for the comp.os heirarchy, go for it.  I just don't have the time
at the moment.  (I'm working on new makefiles for a certain 2900 file
source tree we all know and love...*grin*)

Comments?  Flames?  Insane ramblings?
