I am trying to get started with designing my own pcb - having never done this before I am surprised at the number of details involved - like power connectors. For my board I would like a small consumer style power connector - like found on small low power low voltage devices. But I am having a hard time finding the parts. I am sure I am not doing my searches correctly. The specific kind I want is a coaxial two connector jack style. Not sure of the size yet. I am trying to build my BOM at avnet - am I looking at the right place? And what are those power connectors called? I tried "coaxial power connector" and power plug. Neither looked good. Thank you for any help. -Ram
