I can not imagine that off-100-grid pin-ends will give nice looking schematics, because it my result in arbitrary spaced nets. For text --maybe we should allow arbitrary rotated text. For cairo/pango that should be no problem. At least multiples of 15 degree may be useful -- I think I will support that for my peted.
