. cannot have mult. symbols with the same refdes to denote different
  parts of a component
. no support for static build, since it is a c++ program, if you build 
  it yourself, and if compiler or linker changes, the program will
  stop working. That makes it hard to maintain old versions for testing
  purposes.
. only save to the latest version of the file format, which forces your
  colleges to upgrade
. build process uses colours, which makes it hard for a colour deficient
  person to read the error messages
. ever increasing dependancies, I have not found any way to opt out of
  e.g. opencascade
. too complex lib handling

If you consider anything of this solved with a later version, please 
give me an example project demonstrating that.
