Well, someone may call it a fork... > Mailing lists are oddly quiet. Cannot help much here. > Risks are arising about dependencies on obsolete toolkits. That's not about Lepton. > Nobody seems interested in maintaining it any more. Well, this is a hard job. We're trying to refactor code and old docs (including wiki ones) in our "fork" though it's very difficult to have some significant progress taking into account the amount of active devs. > I'm contemplating pulling the plug on the 12 year old server and > calling it a day. Sad (sigh). > Anyone want to argue otherwise? ;-) > > (and if you do, you'll likely end up owning it ;) I, for one, couldn't do it on my own having no proper resources (time, skills, money) to maintain and support it all. For me, even Lepton is a tremendous job for now (while I still like it). P.S. BTW, I don't like Github for it's (ab)using the results of work of the FOSS comunity and for ever growing demands on devs, especially for trying to tie me to some devices. So I'm considering moving to some other service. Dunno, how the community here perceives the following idea, but maybe adding lepton to the list of repositories at git.geda-project.org will make the site a bit more attractive place to users from aside?
