Naturally, my main concern is that any move towards other applications should not be too disruptive -- which I guess boils down on moving to lepton + pcb-rnd, is that correct? Getting to grips with a different UI with different commands/shortcuts is one thing, but I really want to avoid having to re-enter schematics and especially pcb's  if at all possible. And yes, I regularly modify older designs. Then again, the timing for this development isn't all that bad: I planned to do a Linux reinstall some time in the next couple of months anyway (MX Linux 23 with KDE, if that's of any significance), so that would also be a good opportunity to make a switch like this instead of installing the old suite again. But no matter what happens to geda/pcb, I'd like to express my gratitude towards everyone who contributed to this software over the course of the years. It has been a pleasure to use to this day, even though it has of course some limitations and drawbacks.
