Uneventful, but now with gschem I also see the same rendering issue that you see with active-low signals. This is visible on both the screen and printed versions of schematics. I see only one place on the screen where I have text pushed down by an offset. On the pdf print out however, it happens in many places. None of this behavior occurred with Ubuntu 19.04.
