I had a plastic toolbox full of 3.5" floppies, when there was a new release I'd test floppies and download onto them. Take them home and load them into my mighty 386SX. Seemed like Slackware got flaky, I used FreeBSD for a year or so then OpenBSD for about 15 years. Now I use Debian and Raspbian. gcc 5.3.0 is the approved Slackware 14.2 version. The next Slackware should have at least 9.2.
