I have a few terminal symbols in my schematic for show only. These terminals are on switches and are not connected to my PCB design, but other terminals on those switches are connected to the PCB. I am using the same terminal symbol for other signals on the PCB and they do not give any errors. I thought that in order to keep pcb from complaining, I can set "graphical=1" in all of the show-only terminals and that would make those terminals "invisible" to the tools. It seems that of those "graphical=1" terminals, PCB is complaining that it "Can't find Enn pin 1 called for in netlist", (where "nn" is the terminal refdes number). If I delete these offending terminals, then pcb stops complaining and gives the "Congratulations" message. It was my understanding that if "graphical=1" is used in an instantiated symbol, that the tools will ignore that symbol. Apparently, from my observation that is not quite true. Is there another way to disable a symbol so that the tools ignore it, or what am I doing wrong with my use of "graphical"? Note that I am using gsch2pcb to get the netlist for pcb. Thanks. Girvin Herr
