Hi all!

I'm announcing coralEDA, our new EDA ecosystem. It's an umbrella project: a 
collection of actively maintained, interoperating, open source EDA related 
projects. We believe in solving the EDA question not by a large, integrated, 
monolithic suite but by an ecosystem of independet but well connected tools.

We do not have our own codebase. The main goal of coralEDA is to help 
coordinating the development effort and help users finding their way using the 
tools together.

Member projects are independent, using different technology, written by 
different developers with different motivations and goals - but there is a 
common interest: we all want our tools to effectively work together in vairous 
ways.

While coralEDA was board around pcb-rnd, it is not a pcb-rnd centric project. 
We plan to extend it in all directions, hopefully covering a variety of 
different EDA fields.

If you own or maintain a project that is looking for connections with other 
software (to boost usability) and is at least loosely connected to electronics, 
please consider joining and contact me.
