Here is the power table (+ & - are the 12V battery posts: Gear Motor Position Rotational Contacts Forward/Reverse Contacts 5 150=C2=BA + to yellow, red & white - to black 4 120=C2=BA + to yellow & red to white - to black 3 90=C2=BA + to yellow and white - to black 2 60=C2=BA + to white and red to yellow - to black 1 30=C2=BA + to white - to black off 0=C2=BA no contact + and - open rev 1 -30=C2=BA - to white + to black rev 2 -60=C2=BA - to yellow and white + to black rev 3 -90=C2=BA - to yellow, red and white + to black At gear 5 the motor is drawing 30 amps. I have 40 amp relays but they are big (1" x 1") and they drastically increase the size of my circuit board where I need 10 of them. I was thinking of using high current mosfets as the relays however since I'm connecting in some cases one motor wire (red) to another motor wire (white) how do I operate the gate? Can I use a 5V micro? Using mosfets would drastically reduce my real-estate and longevity but I'm not seeing how to do it with mosfets. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
