Eagle symbols, footprints and layouts into formats suitable for use
with the gEDA toolchain:

There are a lot of open hardware designs and community contributed
design elements in the wild.

Conversion into open formats makes sense, to help ensure that these
contributions in the information commons are not fenced off at some
