While I have been doing image processing in = Python lately, I prefer Scheme for structural manipulations of data. Vladimir and Peter have been proceeding more conservatively, extending = the Scheme scripting capabilities that we have successfully exploited = for years. This looks more promising to me. This judgement could change = if I saw Roland=92s approach fostering a bunch of user-contributed = scripts, but right now it looks like Rolands=92s show.
