Many people hate or don't like it. Peter B., for one, offered
moving to github. But it is also a proprietary hosting with
policies that could change at any time. We obviously cannot support a
similar infrastructure ourselves. There are, however, other
alternatives, e.g. GNU supported ones. Don't know, if they would
be convenient for our users, though.
