Aw, I see, then you probably have to scale the thing, or as you say 
make a new symbol.

If you want to make a new symbol, your program could output to a symbol 
generator input file, i.e. convert between kicad and e.g. tragesym or 
my symbol generator input file format. Would that be something you 
would like to do ?
