I read the latest gerber spec, there is no text support. There is strong wording in the spec that requests to use real holes in polygons, instead of all those workarounds. PCB does not yet draw negative polarity in gerbers, does it? TrueTupe polygons do not fit into this kind of conservatism :-) The user/boardhouse/DRC may not like TrueType fonts on copper layers. I is nice if it is possible, but I see a need for those simple letters as we have now, too. -- Stephan
