DJ has always been pretty hands of on geda. I don't understand you either (sorry for my poor English). Did you mean "hands off"? If so, I might inform you that DJ invited xorn into the geda-gaf repo, which made it two times less maintainable (because of two times larger code base). If you want examples, I have them: 'make distcheck' doesn't work now, incompatible gettext version in xorn, broken links to the xorn code base... Those are things stopped me from working on the project in the central repo. (I know, everyone had his/her best intentions to make thing better, though... ) I cannot deal with all the mess we have now there. However, I hope things will become better some day.
