The addition of unnecessary =93features=94 has made this approach =
harder. There are two problems:

1. It used to be that to move things, I selected and then did =93m=94. =
Now, I can just click and drag. But the nasty consequence is that often =
when I try a box selection, I move something instead. Given that a major =
reason for moving things is to relieve crowding, making actions =
difficult to predict makes the job harder, not easier.

2. It used to be easy to =93clean up=94 a selection by shift-click on =
the objects I didn=92t want selected. But now, gschem *extends* the =
selection when you do this to a net segment. Fortunately, I can disable =
this inconsistent behavior with (net-selection-mode "disabled=94).

Clever overloading of actions to make simple special cases easier makes =
the general case harder.
