You forget the work done in private repos such as, e.g. http://repo.or.cz/w/geda-pcb/pcjc2.git and that not all private work has been published, and that there is other activity, e.g. FOSDEM talks. > > The same here: > > http://git.geda-project.org/gerbv/log/ > > and even worse here: > > http://git.geda-project.org/orange/log/ > and here > http://git.geda-project.org/xgsch2pcb/log/ > and here > http://git.geda-project.org/wwwhtdocs/log/ > and here > http://git.geda-project.org/gerbvhtdocs/log/ I don't know what to change in the *htdocs now. If you would want, you could do this or file a bug report. As to other projects, let's they be. If they're not so popular that nobody wants to work on them, what can I do? There are other projects with similar issues. I would name some of them just a 'proof of concept' (if I understand right what I've said :)). > > > Nevertheless you straight out refuse no less than five people to > participate and/or contribute. Instead of an "sorry, should have done Nope. Everyone can contribute by filing bug reports, working on the existing ones, sending patches and so on. That's the right way, I think. > that earlier" there's an extensive search for excuses. That's exactly > what people fear and what has led to the situation shown above. If 6 > almost-halted projects of 7 total don't prove that the membership > strategy doesn't work I can't imagine what else would. I see only 6 projects on git.geda-project.org (excluding *htdocs, see above). Three of them are popular and are developed. Three others would probably have some more care. TBH, I never used any of them. Cheers, Vladimir
