looking for = previous work on VHDL in gschem and gnetlist I happened to find this = link:

It describes two interesting = features:
gnetlist -g symcreate
Naming nets = something_31_downto_0 to get = std_logic_vectors.

I cannot immediately = find any traces of such features in the current code base for geda-gaf, = but maybe it disappeared years ago.

I have = backups of gEDA installations going back to 2002, and I cannot find a = =93symcreate=94 back end. I wonder where it came from and what happened = to it.
