I don't think people look anywhere else when looking for an installer. Maybe it's unfortunate, but it's obviously the task of developers to also bring web pages up to date. Else stuff is simply not found. I wouldn't mind if you postponed some of the other work to make the work already done more visible. As we talk ... I took a look at the large pile of commits you pushed recently to geda-gaf and applied the equivalent of each of them to pcb, too.
