not imo.  i paid for a perpetual license of QT Commercial; the maint 
expired, and now they tell me i have to pay "monthly subscription fees" 
as my license "is no longer usable".  so much for "perpetual"...

so i'm not sure whether or not i'll use QT in the future.  i don't do 
this to my clients, so why should i go along with their (imo bogus) 
"licensing" plan?

if GTK2 touchscreen support was "right here right now", i'd probably use 
GTK2.  afaict, in all GTK(x) releases, touchscreens aren't really 
supported - please lmk if i'm missing something here.
