A while back I was looking at gsymcheck in hopes of fixing some of its problems. However, I could not find any documentation on the libgeda functions' parameters, function definitions and returned results. Things that are required to understand the UI. That hindered my reverse engineering of gsymcheck, since I would need to reverse engineer libgeda first. I wish you well in your effort.
