Judging from the log, this looks like a guile issue... I did not get anything similar, yet. But here are some questions to hopefully shed more light on the issue: * how did you install geda? from a linux distribution? Or did you compile it from source? * did gnetlist (akka gsch2pcb) ever run successfully? * does /home/icb/.gEDA/gnetlistrc exist? If so, is it readable to the user who starts gsch2pcb? Maybe the read fails because of the content. Can you copy/paste the contents of .gEDA/gnetlistrc to the mailing list? > [icb AT fussbudget EDAtest]$ gsch2pcb Phase.prj > ERROR: Unable to parse config from [/home/icb/.gEDA/gnetlistrc]: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ BTW, according to the logs you use 1.8.2 of geda. The current stable(?) version of geda is 1.9.1 . It offers some significant improvements. My two favorites are printing and the way the select_symbol_dialog works. It can now handle subdirectories recursively -- like a file browser. Hope, that helps, ---<)kaimartin(>---
