I guess it is not pcb itself giving me problems. Maybe some external
library. This is what I get:

The program 'pcb' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 2061 error_code 2 request_code 155 minor_code 3)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

This happens even if I check out git branch pcb-20140316 which works as an
installed deb package.

I checked out HEAD on git in a virtualbox debian/sid installation, and
there I experience the same skew in pcb-gtk as on the native debian/sid.

I even downloaded the Ubuntu version deb-files from 2015 reported to work,
and still experience skew. It has to be an artifact in an external library,
but I have no Idea what to look for. I probably need to test an Ubuntu
virtualbox image.
