A circuit board is a stack of materials composed of simple shapes, but pcb can’t cope with that. Instead, to pcb a circuit board is a collection of specialized objects with peculiar properties interacting in idiosyncratic ways. I find this impenetrable. From some comments I’ve seen here, I guess the developers find this a worse problem than users do. So, I suggest you not ask for more peculiar objects, but rather for a mechanism for the user to compose whatever object that user needs. > > >> * 3D data - at least a height would be nice > > 3D can be and should be delegated to specialized applications. > > ---<)kaimartin(>--- > -- > Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 > Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 > Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de > GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get > > > > John Doty Noqsi Aerospace, Ltd. http://www.noqsi.com/ jpd AT noqsi DOT com
