The M4 footprints are still there, > ready for you to define parameterized footprints all day and all > night. They're simply called "deprecated" in a footprint manual. They don't work by default - I need to manually specify options that mean "yes I want to use M4 files from such-and-such directory" every time I import a schematic - and they appear to be even less supported than the rest of the library. It doesn't appear I can expect them to work in the future, even when other things that currently don't work may be fixed eventually. That's what I mean by basically not working. I'm aware that deprecation is different from not existing at all. -- Matthew Skala mskala AT ansuz DOT sooke DOT bc DOT ca People before principles. http://ansuz.sooke.bc.ca/
