As a positive idea. Peter Stuge put an emphasis on the fact that it is
currently vaporware! Over dinner Peter Clifton and Wayne Stambaugh
(KiCad) have been chatting a bit about collaboration. That could be a
start for the free software development.

It should be edacore.org but you land on another page of Peter S., he
has registered the domain: http://whois.domaintools.com/edacore.org
That site could start with the FOSDEM presentation sheets to spread the
idea.

There is also an irc channel #edacore at irc.freenode.net

I would also like to thank Javier for organising the Electronic design
automation devroom and for persuading people to give a presentation.
The devroom had 60 seats that were continuously filled during the day.
